If I tell a joke, you've probably heard it before
But I have a talent, a wonderful thing
Cause everyone listens when I start to sing
I'm so grateful and proud
All I want is to sing out loud.
So I say
Thank you for the music, the song I'm singing
Thanks for all the joy they're bringing
Who can live without it, I ask in all honesty
What would life be?
Without a song or a dance what are we?
So I say thank you for the music
For giving it to me.

ReplyDeleteSuch a simple thing to be thankful for. Taken for granted by almost everyone....certainly in my circle of friends. But for so many people it is something that they cannot take for granted.
It is good to pause and give thanks, even for the simplest of things.
